Without volunteers our ministry could not serve the people in this area. Please consider helping us serve our community. Our VOLUNTEER page will provide the needed information to volunteer.

In addition our DONATIONS page offers a variety of other ways that you can help. We are always in need of cash donations, food and goods to help us fulfill our obligation to the needy in this area.

Making a charitable cash donation in a friend or family member's name is just one way to help The Brown Bag Ministry feed the homeless. DONATE NOW and download a donation postcard template that can be printed and inserted into a greeting card.

We are an official non-profit organization.
All donations are tax deductible.

Brown Bag Ministry prepares and distributes over 1,000 brown bag lunches to the homeless and those in need every Saturday.

The bag preparation takes place at
St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex beginning at 9:00 am. Once all the bags are complete we load up our truck and head down to Moore Square in downtown Raleigh where we distribute some of the bags.

The remaining bags are distributed to various locations within Apex, Durham and Raleigh.

We are also responsible for preparing a hot meal to feed 200-225 homeless and those in need on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
